Diese Europäische Norm legt ein Verfahren zur Bestimmung der Wasserdampfdurchlässigkeit im stationären Zustand von Putzmörteln nach prEN  998-1 im oberen und unteren Teil des hygroskopischen Bereiches fest. Das Prüfverfahren gilt nur für Mörtel, aus denen scheibenförmige Prüfkörper gleichbleibender Dicke zwischen 10 mm und 30 mm hergestellt werden können.
