This document (EN 33:2003) has been prepared by Technical Committee CEN/TC 163, "Sanitary appliances", the
secretariat of which is held by UNI.
This European Standard shall be given the status of a national standard, either by publication of an identical text or
by endorsement, at the latest by October 2003, and conflicting national standards shall be withdrawn at the latest
by October 2003.
This document supersedes EN 33:1998.
This revised version considers new market trends and compared to the version of November 1998 includes the
following amendments: Dimension q is changed.
According to the CEN/CENELEC Internal Regulations, the national standards organizations of the following
