Dieses Dokument (EN 1865-4:2012) wurde vom Technischen Komitee CEN/TC 239 „Rettungssysteme“
erarbeitet, dessen Sekretariat vom DIN gehalten wird.
Diese Europäische Norm muss den Status einer nationalen Norm erhalten, entweder durch Veröffentlichung
eines identischen Textes oder durch Anerkennung bis spätestens Oktober 2012, und etwaige
entgegenstehende nationale Normen müssen bis spätestens Oktober 2012 zurückgezogen werden.
Es wird auf die Möglichkeit hingewiesen, dass einige Texte dieses Dokuments Patentrechte berühren können.
CEN [und/oder CENELEC] sind nicht dafür verantwortlich, einige oder alle diesbezüglichen Patentrechte zu
identifizieren.
Dieses Dokument ersetzt EN 1865:1999.
In Bezug auf EN 1865:1999 wurden folgende Änderungen vorgenommen:
a) klappbare Patiententragesessel müssen mit einem Mechanismus ausgestattet sein, der das Auf-
und/oder Abwärtsgleitens über Treppenstufen unterstützt und somit die Notwendigkeit des manuellen
Tragens des Patienten und/oder des Tragesessel minimiert;
b) die Masse wurde von 10 kg auf höchstens 15 kg geändert;
c) die Patientenrückhaltesysteme müssen den Patienten sichern und gleichzeitig seine Behandlung
ermöglichen;
d) die Norm wurde angepasst/geändert, um den Anforderungen der EG-Richtlinie 93/42/EWG über
Medizinprodukte zu entsprechen.
Dieses Dokument wurde unter einem Mandat erarbeitet, das die Europäische Kommission und die
Europäische Freihandelszone dem CEN erteilt haben, und unterstützt grundlegende Anforderungen der EU-
Richtlinien.
Zum Zusammenhang mit EU-Richtlinien siehe informativen Anhang ZA, der Bestandteil dieses Dokuments ist.
Diese Europäische Norm ist Teil der EN 1865, Krankentransportmittel im Krankenkraftwagen, die zukünftig
