Petroleum and natural gas industries — Modular drilling rigs for offshore fixed platforms
ISO 18647:2017 gives requirements for the design, fabrication, installation, commissioning and integrity management of modular drilling rigs on offshore fixed platforms. The modular drilling rig includes some or all of the equipment as follows: - drilling equipment including a derrick/mast and its controls that can be moved by skidding a drilling support structure; - drilling support equipment which includes support facilities such as power supply/distribution system; - mud and cement storage, mixing, monitoring and control equipment. ISO 18647:2017 is applicable to the modular drilling equipment on offshore structures for the petroleum and natural gas industries, as follows: - new equipment arranged in a modularized form; - the equipment contained in several modules, each of which can be lifted and installed on to the platform, however, the equipment may be arranged within the modules as is convenient; - the modules assembled together offshore for hook up and commissioning; - intended for long term use on a new fixed offshore structure; - Intended for temporary use on a number of different offshore platforms. ISO 18647:2017 is not applicable to drilling equipment - installed on mobile offshore units, and - intended primarily for onshore use. ISO 18647:2017 does not apply to those parts and functions of an offshore platform that are not directly related to drilling.

Le présent document donne un répertoire d'exigences applicables à la conception, la fabrication, l'installation, la mise en service et la gestion de l'intégrité des foreuses modulaires sur plates-formes fixes en mer. La foreuse modulaire comprend tout ou partie des équipements suivants : — équipement de forage comprenant un derrick/mât et ses commandes, pouvant être déplacé en faisant riper une structure de support de forage ; — équipement de support de forage comprenant des installations de soutien telles que l'alimentation électrique/le système de distribution ; — stockage boue et cimentation, malaxage, équipements de surveillance et de contrôle. Le présent document est applicable aux équipements suivants de forage modulaires sur les structures en mer, destinés aux industries du pétrole et du gaz naturel : — équipements neufs disposés d'une façon modulaire ; — les équipements contenus dans plusieurs modules, chacun d'entre eux pouvant être levé et installé sur la plate-forme, les équipements pouvant être disposés au sein des modules selon ce qui est le plus pratique ; — les modules assemblés en mer pour raccordement et réception ; — ceux prévus pour une utilisation à long terme sur une nouvelle structure fixe en mer ; — ceux prévus pour une utilisation temporaire sur de nombreuses plates-formes en mer. Le présent document n'est pas applicable aux équipements de forage — installés sur des unités mobiles en mer ; et — revus en premier lieu pour une utilisation à terre. Le présent document ne s'applique pas aux parties et fonctions d'une plate-forme en mer qui ne sont pas directement liées au forage.
