EN 12339:1997

Overview

EN 12339:1997 (adopted as SIST EN 12339:2000) is a CEN European Standard that defines the main dimensions, construction and safety requirements for rope tubs used on inland navigation vessels. Rope tubs are deck fittings designed to stow and shoot up steel wire ropes, chemical-fibre ropes or natural-fibre ropes used for tying, hauling and other mooring operations.
